MCDONALD’S SHAKE A GIFT

SapientNitro created an experience in the McDonald's app that encouraged folks to shake their gifts this holiday season to unlock some stellar promos. Giving the joy of millions of McNuggets, how can you not love that?

As a designer, I worked on on this project from the concepting stage, all the way until its release. I became best friends with the workers at Paper Source since we used about 50+ different gift wrapping paper options to show the team over at Micky D’s. Fun fact, the gold bow on the white present was a last-minute decision during production. Crazy, right?

This app experience used stop-motion photography as well, which I got to help art direct with our friends over at Optimus. From there, I worked with the developers on our team to tailor the design within the McDonald’s app functionality. Folks really got into the spirit of Shake a Gift. It was a huge success for not only McDonald's, but also the hardworking team at Sapient who made it happen.
